We were glad to be setting sail on the Carnival Paradise, the first ship which was specifically built to be smoke-free. The ship was put into service only nine weeks before we sailed. We had joked about the ship being so new that with our luck, this cruise could turn out to be like the Titanic. So the first question we had was, "Would the ship preview the movie Titanic as one of the free movies onboard." Our answer was no and were we surprised when Titanic was their premier movie.
Each formal night on the cruise allowed many opportunities to have free sittings for pictures. We always enjoy having our family picture taken on the stair steps of the Rotunda.
