Greg

Clear blue water, complete silence, and no phones made the Bahamas a favorite place for Greg to vacation. On the Blue Lagoon tour, his goal was to make it from the Carnival cruise boat into the warm water, but this hammock got his attention first on the island just off of Nassau.

Though a pool is fun, a slide is better as far as Greg is concerned, so, thinking all "kids" need a slide, he built one off of the second story sundeck. The slide was scary for Preston, but with dad's encouragement, both kids enjoyed the rides. Preston even went down by himself sometimes.

Not only does Sea World have Shamu, but it also has a great playground for the kids (and adults). Greg, Preston, and Brooklyn enjoyed climbing on the cargo nets in Shamu's Happy Harbor while mom used the stairs to get the difficult camera shots (or so she said).

Instead of a "store-bought" pumpkin, a hayride into a pumpkin patch to pick his own pumpkin for Halloween seemed like a much better alternative. Greg actually had a great time except for the gail force winds, and who knew those pumpkins had thornes. Friends from Tucson met us there which made for a great day and a wonderful memory.
