The long-awaited day began at 1:00 on February 17, 2001, as Brooklyn was joined by nine of her friends to take part in a marvelous make-over at Priority One Salon. Showing up in their pretties party dresses, each girl entered with unstyled hair ready for their very special salon treatment.

The salon had been transformed into a birthday atmosphere with pink balloons, and a table with yellow roses, a happy birthday banner, and the party invitation on display, all compliments of Debbie John of Priority One.

After taking their "before" pictures, the salon chairs were filled with girls and the business of the day began. Some went to make-up first, others to have their hair done while the remaining few looked for the perfect style in the salon books.
