After a long discussion, Greg finally gave into Susan's demands. To build her a fantastic kitchen. Of course, she promised to buy him a helicopter if he did, but she never imagined that Greg would really start the project. After 9 months of construction, no helicopter. But the kitchen was worth it.
Of course, living without a kitchen for 9 months is a killer. There were times that I would go into the new part of the kitchen, which still contained the old kitchen, and I could see Susan cooking steaks on the old oven under the stars.
Nine months later and a 2nd mortgage, the kitchen was completed.
