Sea World

One of the first things we noticed at the time share was that the lake was down almost 10 feet. Like many other places across America, Orlando had received very little rain. This seemed to drastically affect their duck population as the entire time we were there, there was only one duck for the kids to feed. The birds willingly joined in to help him though.

Sleeping in was a luxury we had never taken advantage of before this trip. Instead of setting our alarm and fighting the early morning crowds, we decided to take it easy and go later in the morning. It worked out very well. We stayed at the park until 10:00 p.m. and were not near as tired as we had been in the past.

Saturday morning and most of the day there was great cloud cover which helped keep the heat down. Preston and Brooklyn were equipped with their own water bottles and fanny packs, another first.

Here Greg is pictured with his very missed sun glasses. He has had these glasses for five years, but after riding Kraken, Sea World's first roller coaster, the sun glasses will forever remain in the Sea World Lagoon over which Kraken was built.

Still a favorite of Preston and Greg's is the sky show. They both enjoy the jet ski tricks, the water skiing show, and the girls.

While Greg watches the polar bears sleep in their cool icy home, Preston and Brooklyn play in the ice caves. Almost having to go on hands and knees, it's amazing to see how much they have grown. They use to travel the caves standing tall.

The Clyde and Seamore show is always a favorite. Preston was excited because the show had changed from the Hotel theme from last time to a pirate island and ship setting.

Terrors of the Deep is always a favorite. Preston and Brooklyn both like to see the sharks. This year seeing the stingrays was fun after swimming with stingrays on the cruise in March.

Traveling through the glass tunnel, we get a close up view of the eels, sharks, and other creatures of the deep.

Greg's new camera equipped with night vision provides us a chance to film the shark teeth on display. Preston loved the size of the jaw.

Enjoying the Summer Nights show, Shamu puts on a great performance. The cool night made watching him even more enjoyable.

The night ended as we enjoyed a great fire works show in the jet ski arena. Using lasers, water walls with movies, great music and awesome fire works, this was one of the best shows we saw while in Orlando.
