Rock'n Roller Coaster is similar to Space Mountain, but it has loops and twists. Although Shelby was unsure of this, she gave it a try. As a matter of fact, she liked it so much, she tried it a few more times. Bodie missed this ride by about 1/2".

MGM Studios is one of our favorites. It seems to have both adventure rides and activities where you get to sit down and take a break from long lines, heat, or rain. We are prepared for a rain storm on this day, but the weather seemed to just bark, but never bite.

While purchasing our tickets, we are informed that Tiger Woods, a legend to Preston, and who had just won a golf tournament the day before, was in the park and would make an appearance in the parade. Susan finds out the perfect place to sit and watch the parade and then the adults decide to keep the guest appearance a surprise.

The huge purple hat in the background is new this year though we saw it being built last year. We were wondering exactly what kind of a ride it was. However, it wasn't really anything special. Just a couple of fun computer activities for kids and a gift shop.

Tower of Terror--Being the first time for the Browns, we can't convince them to put their hands up as we plummet 13 stories. This shot is taken just as we begin to drop.

Rock'n Roller Coaster turns out to be Shelby's favorite. Although scared at first, she gets on the ride and makes it through--several times.

Little Mermaid is also a favorite. This inside, air conditioned attraction features puppet as well as live actors, lasers, and animation.

Arial, Ursula and Sabastain all sing the favorite songs featured in Little Mermaid.

Getting your picture and an autograph from Snow White is awfully important as we were about to find out. As Shelby approaches Snow White, Trina begins to panic because Shelby's pen quit writing, Trina's screaming to find another pen starts to wear on Snow White who, in her high-pitched, Snow White voice simply says, "Don't worry dear, I have it handled" Trina doesn't understand and keeps yelling for a pen. Snow White calmly takes out a pen, waves it at Trina and solves the problem before Trina becomes hysterical.

This turned out to be Bodie's favorite ride--Star Tours. After eating lunch, we realize that the lines were starting to disappear at MGM. Everyone must have thought the rainstorms were coming soon. We are able to ride Star Tours twice without any waiting at all. Later that night, Bodie takes us back to ride it another three times.

Like Brannon would really trust Trina driving this speed racer.

Although not air conditioned, "The Hunch Back of Notra Damn" is another great time to take your shoes off and enjoy the show.

Bodie and Brannon enjoy the Back Lot Tour ride. The tour takes us into the back lot and shows where filming is actually taking place. Along the way, we see a lot of the props that have been used in movies over the years.

The Sorcerer's hat is actually bigger than it looks.

The Great Movie Ride is usually about a one hour wait. As it gets dark however, we manage to get right on. Inside the moving car takes us down a series of hallways which lead us into famous movie scenes. Here, the scene portrays Jane from the Tarzan series.

We manage to close down the park. They almost have to kick us out of MGM. Just as we start to leave, it finally starts to rain hard enough to get out a cute Tweety Bird umbrella. Shelby brought along.

Although it had just started to rain, we thought that it would pass and we would have a good day tomorrow. However, it didn't stop raining all night and rained for several hours day the next day. This would make it difficult to get things done at Blizzard Beach.
