Two fun days at sea during Monday and Tuesday.
There is nothing better than knowing that when you go to sleep, you never have to worry about what time you are going to wake up in the morning. Why? Because you know the next day is going to be a "Fun Day at Sea".

No hurry up and go before the crowd gets there. You can sleep, eat and relax without ever looking at your watch. That's what fun days are all about. However, it also make you feel so relax, that sometimes you forget to take pictures and that's exactly what happened. We actually spent a lot of time together watching DVD's in our room so pictures are scarce. But we did enjoy spending time together.

Waking Up on the First Day at Sea...

Usually, the Lindsey's enjoy hitting the buffet line for breakfast. However, because we were not in a hurry, we were able to sit down at the dining room and enjoy being served.
Nothing better than 24 hour access to the ice cream machine.
Our day started out just hanging out in the room. Once assembled, because there are so many of us it takes time, we enjoyed sitting down to breakfast.

The rest of the day was spent just being lazy and enjoying videos in the room.

The kids occassionally went for a swim or walk, but the adults enjoyed talking most of the day.

First Formal Night...

Each night upon returning to your state room, you never know what kind of towel animal the room steward will leave.
After being so lazy all day, it was a challenge to get ourselves together to enjoy the first formal evening. Getting everyone dressed and out the door always is easy with the Lindsey's and the Brown's.

The night begins with spending about an hour taking formal pictures. With two families, it's chaotic at best to organize all the shots.

After being photographed at least 50 times, we moved onto the formal dinner.

Each night, there is a broadway production. Nothing better than being entertained in style.

Second Fun Day at Sea During the Morning...

The next fun day started with another breakfast in the dining room followed by outdoor activites such as swimming and sunbathing.

Second Fun Day at Sea During the Evening...

Later that evening, we spent another dinner in the formal dining room of the Monet Restaurant followed by an evening of entertainment and relaxing.

Greg had earlier met Melinda Chatman, former Motown R & B performer who has performed for Gladys Knight, Dionne Warwick, Diana Ross, Al Green, Isaac Hayes, as well as "Bandstand" host Dick Clark.

She seemed lost and Greg was more than glad to help her. We later had dinner with her.
