The map hasn't updated yet. We are still in New Orleans all day Saturday.
New Orleans is a new port of call for the Lindsey's. However, Trina has been there several times. We all agree that Trina should be our tour guide.

The morning starts out waiting for the Fed Ex guy to arrive with Jenny's birth certificate. At 10:00 sharp, he arrived and all documents were accounted for. Once the excitement was over, we started our tour around New Orleans.

Breakfast in New Orleans...

Once we received Jenny's birth certificate, Trina had made reservations at the ????? for breakfast. It took us about 10 minutes to walk to the restaraunt. Along the wayIt seems that the rain had stopped for the moment and eating outside was perfect. Bonnie and Elaine were on their way to New Orleans today and would meet up with us later today.

Our Morning Tour Around New Orleans...

This street entertained us with people posing as statues. The kids would walk up to this statue and try to figure out if he was alive or not. This person was posing as Michael Jackson with a monkey.
Behind us is the ?????.
Group picture in front of the ????
Only thing missing in this shot is the Carnival Conquest. Tomorrow, the Conquest would be just to the right of the bridge.
Preston and Bodi are both growing up and starting to hand out with one another.
After walking around in the humidity, the kids and Brannon decide to go on top of the hotel and take a swim.
After breakfast, Trina started our walk towards the water front. We probably spent about three hours walking around and enjoying the narrow streets.

The rain storm, which existed from the hurricane which had just recently passed near New Orleans, seemed to be moving out and the sun finally started to shine.

Our Afternoon Tour Around New Orleans...

Bodi decided to give the street car a try.
Greg stayed standing so he could irritate everyone and fall on them as the car swung side to side.
Bonnie, Preston and Jenny.
Although the cemetery had just closed, Brannon made an attempt to get over the gate. Susan made him get down after she said this was a bad example for the kids.
Dinner at ????
Dinner was very formal although we were dressed casual.
Bananna ???? was the main desert for the night.
Bodi and Trina getting some hug time in.
Saturday afternoon brought on Bonnie and Elaine. Trina wanted us to experience the street car tour. We all hopped onto the green street car. Soon after, Trina soon told us to get off immediately. Seems that we needed the red street car.

Once on the street car, it was fun to travel down a very popular street and see all the homes. Some homes were tiny and others were mansions.

Ending up at the end of the line, we visited Cemetery #???. However, it had just closed and we could only see through the gates. Since New Orleans is extremely low to the water table, most cemeteries bury the dead above the ground in ????.

Later that night, Trina made reservations at ????. This would be the first of many formal dinners to come although this one was not on the ship.

Greg's Great Plan....

Luckily, Brooklyn is still small enough to fit into two chairs. We don't know how much longer she will be able to pull this off.
Every cruise that the Lindsey's take, Greg just has to see the ship come into port. Greg had worked for months in trying to find out exactly where they should wait for the ship to come into port so they could get the perfect picture.
Greg is trying to explain to the group exactly where the ship was going to come around the mississippi river. Brannon, however, is laughing because he knows the Conquest came in just moments before the group arrived at the "Perfect Spot"

As we woke up at 3:00 am to see the Conquest come into port, Brannon swore up and down that he heard a ship's whistle. Greg swore up and down that the ships did not come in until around 5:00 am. Greg was wrong. After hauling the entire group down the streets of New Orleans, all they saw was the Conquest already tied up and waiting to get rid of the passengers.

Trina saved the morning by taking us to ???? to enjoy a local favorite.

After returning to the hotel around 5:00 am, some of us slept and some swam until 9:00 in the morning. Shortly after, the tour van that picked us up from the airport returned with two vans to take us four blocks down the road. The 2nd van was needed for all of the luggage that we had.
