The Pride has bunk beds for the kids. Each night the kids would change places. |
Although the kids always fought for the top bunk, it was obvious that the bottom bunk was the most comfortable. |
As in all ports of call, there are always other ships arriving. This port of call does not allow us to dock at a pier. All tours would have to begin with a tender ride to either Belize or to an alternate destination. |
Our tour would be to a private island. However, our transportation was a small boat going against the wind. The trip was incredibly bouncy to the point that it began to hurt. Preston and Greg eventually moved forward to let the girls get to a safer area. |
By the time we arrived, Greg and Preston took a sever beating and it was obvious that it hurt. In the background, the Carnival Pride. |
The island was small, about 200 yards by 200 yards. It was located next to a barrier reef. |
Brooklyn loves to make sand castles. |
The water was absolutely crystal clear with a tint of blue. |
Although getting a little chubby at his age, Greg was enjoying this last moment vacation. Upon returning, Greg would be starting the last phase of construction on their house, the kitchen. Hopefully, after digging the foundations, the tummy would start to tighten up. |
Family moment together. It's hard to talk the kids into having a Kodak Moment instead of playing in the sand. |
Our buddy enjoyed taunting Susan by coming out of his hiding place every five minutes. Susan spend the whole day watching the hold instead of relaxing. |
Saying good by to the small island was awful because Greg and Preston knew the ride back was going to be awful. However, the ride was with the wind this time and it was smooth sailing. |
Another "Kodak Moment". You have to pay a lot of money to get shots like this. The captain gave everyone on the small boat a quick chance to take shots of the Carnival Pride. |
